OK, I've been thinking about this for awhile. I know nobody likes to post pictures of themselves, but I wanna know - what do you look like???? You, not your horse, or your dog, YOU!! (I don't care if your horse or dog are part of the pic but I wanna see you! :D )

Right now I picture everyone as a horse! :p Show me that you are actually people! LOL! :D

I posted the last I have of me and of my dear hubby who i talk about a lot yesterday but i will do it here. this is a 3 or 4 year old pic but I have not changed that much ok maybe a little more wt but working on getting rid of that and my hair is alburn and straight but still short and flipped under just below my ears. I hpe to have a new one on New year day that my girl friend too while we were all dresses up for my niece wedding. I'll have to chaeck and see when she will have it. Actually I had to look up some paper work because these pic was taken late Nov after my head injury in early Nov. I was still having problems with my speach and could not drive but was trying to still have a good time going to Fla. to see my family I was still on pain meds to.

This is a picture of Dennis and me on July 4th. We had just come from working at our rodeo. We are at a resturant named Beaches that is on the Columbia River water front. Our town has a HUGE fireworks display off a barge just down stream from us. Our whole family was there and it was a blast. It was my mom's 89th birthday and we are going to go there again for her 90th.

Great thread!! I love all the pics! Here are a couple of me. The first one is one taken off the web cam about a year ago. And the second one was taken at Kanopolis Canyons. Jesse, your not that from from me I think since it has been awhile It is about 3 hrs. I will check with hubby to see if I'm right. I'm about an hr. south of Grand Rapids. My oldest son was born in Lansing. At Staint Lawance Hosptal. Are you going to be able to see JL in Feb when he is at Birch Run? I wish I could but Missy is due Ealy to mid Feb so I don't know if I will be able to make it. plus if I did I would want to stay more then one day and at this time the only person I trust to care for my horse is having a knee replaced the 1st of Feb so she won't be able to and if she was not having surgery she would like to go with me.

Hello gang,

Just wondering who all was from Michigan and from what part of the state? (For those who don't want the whole world to know where they are from you can p.m. me if you would like. )

I am from Northern Michigan. Near Gaylord, which is about 1 hour south of the Mackinac Bridge and Exactly square in the middle of nowhere land. :D (atleast that is what is seems sometimes when you have to drive 15 min. to the nearest store.)

If there was anyone close to me that is good in working with horses I am in need of a good friend that can guide me through working with cowboy. My dad always teases me about "training my horse to do nothing." Then, I found out when he went to my brother's house they had a good laugh about me owning a horse, because I will never get him trained. I hate the fact that I am 37 years old and still live in a state of intimidation of my father. For some reason it really means alot to me what my Dad thinks of me. I always seem to be trying to prove myself to him over and over. It always seems that nothing I do is good enough in his eyes. But yet my sisters and brother can do no wrong. :(

Ooops sorry didn't mean to start venting on everyone. But if anyone did happen to live close enough to help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I would possibly travel with cowboy, however, he doesn't do the trailer thing well at all. The day we brought him home (we picked him up at his house which was about 40 miles from ours,) He kicked the trailer all the way home. He reared up going into the trailer and while he was in the trailer. He managed to cut his brow from banging his head on the top of the trailer. :eek:

Here are two of me: The first one is me holding my filly, Easy Girl and the two people with me are my barefoot farriers, husband and wife team. The second one is from 2003 when I first got my TB Dan. He was a little hyper and I hadn't been on a horse for a long time that was that tall, 17 HH. The woman on the ground is a good friend of mine who used to show until recently.
