Update on Melissa.

The surgery went very well today.
No colostomy and the tumors were removed without issue.
I am going back up to the hospital now to sit with her awhile.
Thanks to everyone for all the kind words and prayers.

She should be home in about a week, Doctor said 7 days due to the section of colon removed. If things go really well she can come home a day early.

Melissa is doing better, we took a walk around the ward today to help get her up and moving.
She did have to have a transfusion today because her red blood count is low. She should be feeling even better tomorrow and less tired.
Thats a good idea to print out the holding hands thread. I will see if I can do that.
Thanks everyone is who is praying and wishing good things for Melissa, she is a wonderful person with many wonderful friends.
